The resources are live
There are now several useful resources for teachers and advisers on the WebQuests site, including the presentation from the training sessions and a template for creating your own WebQuests.
Click here to visit the WebQuests site, then look for the 'Resources' link (top right).
Update - April 2009
The NMOLP WebQuests are available now.
Almost 80 separate WebQuests are now live, with the balance due to be completed during April and May. The WebQuests cover a variety of curriculum areas including Art and Design, Design and Technology, English, History, Mathematics and Science. They give access to thousands of photographs, paintings and objects held in the museums and galleries, some of which are not normally available to the public.
Free training materials and online resources will also be available online shortly, including:
~ the powerpoint presentation used in the training sessions held as part of the launch in March
~ a toolkit for those who want to create or adapt their own WebQuests.
In addition, printed leaflets will go out to all primary and secondary schools across England after the Easter holidays, giving information on where to find the resource, plus some useful bookmarks and links.

The last of four WebQuest training sessions for teachers and advisers takes place tomorrow (28 March 09) - there has been a lot of enthusiasm for what the resource can offer, and we're looking forward to getting feedback from teachers who have used any of these with their students.
