Tehmina Goskar
from Salisbury
I am a medieval historian and museologist. I have worked across most heritage areas such as museums, archives, local studies, and historic environment in local and international contexts. During this time I specialised in collections documentation, and web-based communication and interpretation. With a desire to gain a specialism, I followed the Museums Association's Associateship programme (AMA) in curatorial skills, gained in 2006. In 2009 I completed my PhD in medieval history, on objects and exchange in southern Italy, using a significant amount of museum objects as my sources in an effort to demonstrate how they can be used as serious evidence, beyond their roles as milestones in the history of art. While perusing my academic interests, I have now developed my interest in online technologies to e-learning in a university setting.
